Day 1 - Edinburgh (2 nights)
Time perhaps for some tea and shortbread and a walk through the new town, before our Welcome Drink with our Tour Director and travelling companions at the start of this exciting tour.
Day 2 - Edinburgh sightseeing & at leisure
Our morning sightseeing visits the Castle and views Holyrood House. Then free time perhaps to shop and stroll along the Royal Mile. During the Festival, we'll include tickets to the dazzling Edinburgh Tattoo. This evening, why not enjoy a Scottish night out? (Full Breakfast)
Day 3 - Edinburgh – Inverness (2 nights)
Today's journey starts with a visit to the Fife Coast and St. Andrews, home of the famous golf course. Then on through Dundee and Perth to Pitlochry. Then via Blair Atholl we visit a famous whisky distillery en route to Culloden Moor, scene of the defeat of Bonnie Prince Charlie. Finally, we arrive in Inverness for two nights. Day 4 - Highlands & Isle of Skye Excursion
We drive along the banks of Loch Ness with views on to Urqhart Castle and the shores of Loch Cluanie through Glen Shiel where the Five Sisters of Kintail surge up to heights of 3,000 feet. Next we visit Eilean Donan Castle before crossing to the Isle of Skye. Later, we return to the mainland and travel via Loch Carron and Achnasheen back to Inverness. (Full Breakfast / Dinner)
Day 5 - Inverness – Glasgow (2 nights)
This morning our drive takes us past Fort William viewing Britain's highest peak en route to Glencoe.
We have a chance to see the Clan Memorial before we drive along the 'bonnie banks' of Loch Lomond to Glasgow. Tonight, we will enjoy Scottish hospitality at dinner in a local restaurant. (Full Breakfast / Highlight Dinner)
Day 6 - Lowlands Excursion
First we stop at Alloway to see where the famous Scottish poet Robbie Burns was born in 1759. Across the road is the ruins of Alloway church where Robbie's father is buried. Afterwards we visit Culzean Castle before we head back to Glasgow. (Full Breakfast) |

Day 7 - Depart Glasgow
Time to bid farewell as we transfer to the airport for our return flight home. (Full Breakfast)

Edinburgh Scottish Show with Dinner
Tonight is a chance to put on that tartan and join us for an evening of singing, dancing and bagpipe playing. There is food, wine and a great atmosphere. Join in with the singing, we’ll show you a Highland dance or two and there's a chance to sample Scotland’s national dish - haggis. It’s a grand night and a wonderful way to celebrate anevening in Edinburgh. 39.50 (£)
Loch Lomond Boat Trip
Discover the wild beauty of the 'Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond'. As we cruise across the loch the skipper will tell you stories and point out Rob Roy's cave as you relax and savour the stunning scenery. It really is a photographer's paradise! NB. The boats are covered launches and will operate subject to suitable weather conditions. 10 (£)
Guided Visit of Blair Castle
This fine castle is set in its own grounds against a backdrop of glorious scenery. We will enjoy a guided visit around the castle, the home of the Duke of Atholl who is the only man in Britain to have a private army. 11 (£)
EDINBURGH. Rosslyn Chapel Tour & Trail
With a local guide, we drive out of Edinburgh to the tiny village of Rosslyn, where we have a tour of the famous Rosslyn Chapel. Visit one of Scotland's most unusual 15th Century buildings, famed for its associations with the Knights Templar, the Masonic movement, and now 'The Da Vinci Code'. Intricate carvings of New World plants, and secret chambers make this a must on any visit to Scotland. Afterwards there is the opportunity to visit the chapel shop and maybe take a stroll in the beautiful Rosslyn Glen before returning to Edinburgh. 18 (£)
SCOTTISH HIGHLANDS. Scenic Drive and Dinner
Take a scenic drive along the shores of Loch Ness to our restaurant overlooking the loch. Why not indulge in a spot of 'monster hunting' while you enjoy a delicious Highland Dinner, in company with your new found friends on tour. 25 (£)
