On arrival in Oxford we will have a walking tour through some of this University city. see some of the Collage buildings and hear about the academic life of Oxford. Oxford was the inspiration for Lewis Carroll's enchanting tales of "Alice in Wonderland"

Then on to the Cotswolds. An area of outstanding scenic beauty, which is famous for its historic villages with their stone buildings and thatched roofs. You will visit villages like Burford, Stow-on-the-Wold (where we have time for lunch), and Great Tew.

Before we arrive at Blenhiem Palace we will make a short stop at Bladon and have the opportunity to visit the grave of Sir Winston Churchill, possibly the greatest British Prime Minister.

Situated alongside a lake, Blenheim Palace was built almost 300 years ago and is still the ancestral home of the Duke of Marlborough. Sir Winston Churchill was born here in 1874.

You will enjoy a guided tour of the Palace and see the magnificent State Romms. You will also have time to explore the grounds and before we leave the Palace, enjoy your Afternoon Tea.
