Day 1:
Join our train at Kings Cross Station and depart at 7am. The journey takes approximately 4 1/2 hours. On arrival, make your own way to your hotel and start exploring this exciting city. You have included a hop-on hop-off sightseeing tour to make the most of your time in Edinburgh and entrance to Edinburgh Castle is also included.

Day 2:
Today join our "Loch Ness Tour & The Highlands Tour". Our journey northwards takes us through Rob Roy MacGregor country and through haunting Glen Coe, the "Glen of Weeping", where the MacDonald clan were massacred in cold blood by the Campbells for not forswearing the Jacobite cause. It is said that you can still hear their cries!

Scotland (Gaelic: Alba) is a country[7][8] that occupies the northern third of the island of Great Britain. It is part of the United Kingdom,[7] and shares a land border to the south with England. It is bounded by the North Sea to the east, the Atlantic Ocean to the north and west, and the North Channel and Irish Sea to the southwest. In addition to the mainland, Scotland consists of over 790 islands[9] including the Northern Isles and the Hebrides.

Loch Ness (Scottish Gaelic: Loch Nis) is a large, deep, freshwater loch in the Scottish Highlands (57°18′N, 4°27′W) extending for approximately 37 km (23 miles) southwest of Inverness. Its surface is 15.8 meters (52 feet) above sea level. Loch Ness is best known for the alleged sightings of the legendary Loch Ness Monster, also known as "Nessie".

Braveheart is a 1995 historical action-drama movie produced and directed by Mel Gibson, who also starred in the title role. The film was written for screen and then novelized by Randall Wallace. Gibson portrays a legendary Scot, William Wallace, who gained recognition when he came to the forefront of the First War of Scottish Independence by opposing Edward I of England (portrayed by Patrick McGoohan) and subsequently abetted by Edward's daughter-in-law Princess Isabelle (played by Sophie Marceau) and a claimant to the Scottish throne, Robert the Bruce (played by Angus Macfadyen).

Next we travel to Fort William, which sits in the shadow of Ben Nevis. A real highlight is our drive through the Great Glen - watch out for the wonderful loch views along the way. The pretty village of Fort Augustus is our gateway to Scotland's largest and most famous loch - we will tour the entire length of Loch Ness, stopping at Urquhart Castle for a photograph. Could that shadow be the monster?

We will make a further stop in Inverness, so that you can discover the Capital of the Highlands for yourself. Later we will start our journey southwards through the Spey Valley then on to the dramatic scenery of Glen Garry. We'll make a stop in the delightful Victorian resort of Pitlochry before heading back to Edinburg

Day 3:
Enjoy last minute shopping, visit the attractions on your "must see" list or stroll through the city centre - it's your day!!
