Day 8 Lugano - Lucerne
Today's drive takes us via the St. Gotthard highway. From here we descend to
lakeside Lucerne, where orientation includes the Lion Monument (Buffet
breakfast/ Dinner) Hotel: Luzernerhof
Day 9 Lucerne - Paris (2 nights)
After breakfast this morning we will drive to Basel and cross the French border
to the wine-producing area of Burgundy. Then we continue en route to romantic
Paris. (Buffet Breakfast)
Day 10 Paris Sightseeing and at leisure
This morning's sightseeing tour includes views of the Eiffel Tower, Arc de
Triomphe, Champs Elysées and of course Notre Dame. Your afternoon is at leisure in this fabulous city. (Buffet Breakfast).
Day 11 Paris - London
Today we pass the Battlefields of two World Wars as we make our way to Calais. Here we board the ferry to Dover and continue by coach to London. (Buffet Breakfast)

Our private mini-coach takes us through the magical narrow streets and alleys of the city, made famous by the film, Amadeus. We visit the exquisite baroque St. Nicholas Church where the Requiem Mass to commemorate Mozart’s death was performed. We drive past the homes of Nobles frequently used for Mozart’s private concerts and the Churches where his golden fingers would touch the keys of the mighty organs to produce heavenly music. Finally we visit the spectacular Theatre of the Estates, where ‘Don Giovanni’ saw its first performance. When closed we will visit the Art Nouveau 'Municipal House', with its concert hall. 44 (€)

Enjoy dinner and drinks in a typical Parisian restaurant and toast our new-found friends on tour. Then visit Montmartre, the old artists’ quarter made famous in the paintings of Toulouse-Lautrec and Utrillo. Dominated by the brilliant white dome of Sacré Coeur Basilica, its fascinating narrow streets and outdoor cafés give a real flavour of Paris life. Alternatively, after dinner we will enjoy a floodlit Seine Cruise or ascend to the second level of the Eiffel Tower. 61 (€)
PARIS. Illuminations & the Eiffel Tower or the Seine Cruise
No other city has such striking illuminations, best appreciated on our guided sightseeing night drive. We take in the Place de la Concorde, Champs Elysées, Arc de Triomphe and of course the famed Eiffel Tower from the Trocadero. We start with a conducted tour of one of the finest art galleries in the world - the Louvre. A chance to admire the Mona Lisa and the Venus de Milo amongst the many thousands of exhibits in this former Royal Palace. In addition, you may wish to admire the city from on high and ascend to the second stage of the Eiffel Tower. We leave the bustle of the city for thesplendour and magnificence of Versailles. Created by the “Sun King” Louis XIV, the palace becamethe envy of every other European ruler.
