Day 1 London – Brussels
A warm welcome from our Tour Director as we drive to the White Cliffs of Dover, and our short sea-crossing to Calais in France. Over the border we drive through the Belgian countryside to Brussels. After a welcome drink with our Tour Director, an orientation tour of the city shows us the main sights plus the beautiful Grand' Place.

Day 2 - Brussels - Rhine Cruise - Heidelberg
After breakfast this morning, our day will begins with a drive to Cologne to see its gothic Cathedral. Then we continue via Bonn to Boppard where we embark on our scenic Rhine cruise past medieval castles and ancient vineyards before disembarking at St. Goar. Next, we rejoin our coach and make our way to Heidelberg where our Tour Director takes us to visit the courtyards of the ancient Castle, its fascinating wine cellar with its giant wine-barrel

Cologne Cathedral
and finally to the castle terrace with amazing views over this baroque city. Dinner tonight is in our Heidelberg hotel. (Buffet breakfast/ Dinner)

Day 3 - Heidelberg - Munich - Innsbruck
A morning drive through the Swabian Uplands to Munich. Here orientation includes the Olympic Stadium and Marienplatz. Then we head to Austria and mountain-ringed Innsbruck. On our arrival an orientation tour includes the famous Golden Roof and Hofburg Palace as well as te Wiltem Bascilica. Perhaps later enjoy a horse and carriage ride through the Tyrolean countryside, or maybe try a yodel at Folklore show? (Buffet breakfast)

Day 4 Innsbruck – Salzburg – Vienna (2)
This morning we visit the Wilten Basilica before a drive through the Tyrol region and a section of Germany to Salzburg. Here our sightseeing tour on foot highlights Mozart's birthplace and the Cathedral Square. Later, we journey through spectacular Alpine scenery en route to the Austrian capital, Imperial Vienna, for two nights. (Buffet breakfast)

Day 5 Vienna sightseeing & at leisure
Morning sightseeing shows us highlights of this elegant city. We'll see the Opera, the Hofburg, St. Stephen's Cathedral, the Parliament, and the Imperial Boulevards. The rest of your day is free to relax at a coffee house or sightsee and shop along the fashionable Kärntnerstrasse. (Buffet breakfast)

Day 6 Vienna – Venice (Mestre) (2)
We journey south across the Austrian Alps past forested mountains, rushing streams and small market towns to the Austrian Lake District and Italy's border. The Carnian Alps give way to the plains of Northern Italy on our approach to the magical city of Venice for our two-night stay. (Buffet breakfast and 3 course evening meal)

Day 7 Venice sightseeing & at leisure
This morning we savour the sights and sounds of this serene Byzantine city on a canal cruise by motor launch to St. Mark's Square, viewing the Bridge of Sighs. Then, after visiting a traditional glass-blowing factory, you're free to explore or take a trip to the island of Burano and enjoy a fresh seafood lunch. (Buffet breakfast and 3 course evening meal)

Day 8 Venice (Mestre) – Verona – Milan
Today's drive takes us across the Veneto Plains, stopping in Verona to see the Roman Arena and Juliet's balcony. From here we will continue through Lombardy en route to Milan. Here an orientation tour shows us the gothic Cathedral, 'La Scala' Opera House and the beautiful Galleria. Tonight we enjoy dinner in a local restaurant. (Buffet breakfast and local restaurant dinner)

Day 9 Milan – Lugano – Lucerne
This morning we enjoy a full day of marvellous scenery as we drive via Lake Lugano continuing through the St. Gotthard route and across the Alps to Lucerne. On our arrival an orientation tour includes a visit to the famed Lion Monument and the Chapel Bridge. Later, why not enjoy a leisurely stroll in the narrow streets of the medieval Old Town? Tonight dinner is at our hotel. (Buffet breakfast and 3 course evening meal)

Day 10 Lucerne – Paris (2)
This morning, we descend from the Alps to the French border and continue through wine-producing Burgundy to view the ancient vineyards at Savigny-Lès Beaune. From here our journey brings us to lively Paris for the next two nights. This evening, this vibrant and romantic city beckons. (Buffet breakfast)

Day 11 Paris sightseeing & at leisure
Our morning guided sightseeing tour features an included Seine cruise that highlights the flying buttresses of Notre Dame Cathedral and the Pont Alexandre III. We also drive from the Place de la Concorde along the Champs Elysées to the Arc de Triomphe and then to the Eiffel Tower where we ascend to the second level by elevator for spectacular views over the city. Later, perhaps shop for next year's fashions or relax in a café. This evening, why not enjoy dinner in Montmartre or a Left Bank bistro? (Buffet breakfast)

Day 12 Paris – London
After breakfast it's 'au revoir' Paris as we cross the Somme Battlefields into northern France. We continue past the Canadian War Memorial at Vimy Ridge and along the Opal Coast with remnants of German World War II bunkers. From here we arrive in Calais, to board our ferry to Dover, returning by coach to London. (Buffet breakfast)

VIENNA. Imperial Highlights
We enjoy a guided visit to the Palace of Schönbrunn, with its magnificently preserved state rooms and exquisite gardens. From the summer residence of the Hapsburg monarchs, we continue to either the Imperial Treasures, the Vienna Opera House or the Crypts and Vaults of the Imperial family for a guided tour. 40 (€)

VIENNA. Prater Wheel and Dinner in a Country Mansion
First we visit the cheerful Prater Park to take a gentle ride on the historic Big Wheel and admire the picturesque skyline of Vienna. Then across the Danube to the historic country retreat of Deutsch-Wagram, scene of the great Napoleonic battle. Here we will enjoy a delicious dinner in one of the elegant dining rooms. 63 (€)

VIENNA. Hungarian Gypsy Dinner and Schnapps Museum or Prater Wheel
First we visit the cheerful Prater Park to take a gentle ride on the historic Big Wheel and admire the picturesque skyline of Vienna. Alternatively, we will visit the home of the Fischer family to see how the local Schnapps is made and to taste some delicious samples! SALZBURG. Eagle’s Nest Tour & Bavarian Alps
Driving deep into the National Park past bucolic farmhouses and picturesque villages, we arrive at the ruins of Obersalzburg. From here we transfer to special motorcoaches adapted to the scenic mountain climb to Hilter’s notorious ‘Eagle’s Nest’. Through the arches we will have splendid views up to the ‘Hohen Göll’ and across snow-capped peaks. 45 (€)

INNSBRUCK. Horse & Carriage Ride
A spectacular drive leads us to a typical mountain village. Then we enjoy a horse drawn carriage ride through the magnificent alpine scenery. We stop for a drink before our return to Innsbruck. 35 (€)

VIENNA. Vienna Palace Concert
A wonderful concert of Viennese classical music including some of the most famous works of Johann Strauss and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, performed by some of the most highly acclaimed soloists and dancers in Austria. A glass of champagne is included during the interval. 45 (€)

VIENNA. Vienna Woods and Wine Village Dinner
A scenic drive along the Vienna Woods Panoramic Road (Hohenstrasse) offers beautiful views of the city and the Danube River. Then on to one of the romantic wine villages, where Viennese specialities and 'Schrammelmusik' await us. 55 (€)

PARIS. Illuminations and Dinner
After an unforgettable dinner in typical Parisian style, drinks included, we take a drive through the city. By night, Paris is a city transformed - no other city has such striking illuminations, such glamour or romance. PARIS. Dinner & Montmartre or Seine Cruise. Bon appetit!
Enjoy dinner and drinks in a typical Parisian restaurant and toast our new-found friends on tour. Then visit Montmarte, the old artists’ quarter made famous in the paintings of Toulouse-Lautrec and Utrillo. Dominated by the brilliant white dome of the Sacre Coeur Basilica, its fascinating narrow streets and outdoor cafés, give a real flavour of Parisian life. PARIS. Illuminations and the Seine Cruise
No other city has such striking illuminations, best appreciated on our guided sightseeing night drive. The Louvre - the biggest and bestknown museum in the world was once the palace for the kings. Alternatively, explore the world of the Impressionists in the prize winning converted railway station of the Musee d'Orsay. A half day off the beaten track! We are taken by private boat to the nearby islands in the lagoon of Venice. See the island of Murano and the Hermitage of San Francesco del Deserto. VENICE. Venice by night
A scintillating introduction to this magical city! First we cruise along the Grand Canal by private water taxis admiring the elegant Palazzos, illuminated by magnificent chandeliers. We see the Rialto Bridge and then reach the ‘most beautiful outdoor drawing room in the world’ - St. Mark’s Square. Here we will have time to wonder at the impressive architecture before enjoying an included drink at one of the chic ‘al fresco’ cafés whilst listening to the music of its own orchestra! MILAN. Guided visit of the Castello Sforza
Visit one of the most impressive castles of the thirteenth century, once the residence of the Dukes of Milan. Here we will take a guided tour of the 'Musei Artistici' where, among other highlights, we will see Michelangelo's last work, the 'Pieta of Rondanini'. VENICE. A guided tour of St. Mark’s Basilica & the Doges’ Palace

Accompanied by a local expert we are taken into the magnificent Doges’ Palace – home to the rulers of the Venetian republic for hundreds of years. We are shown the main highlights of the palace and its elegant courtyards, before entering the Byzantine Basilica of St. Mark the Evangelist, patron saint of the city of Venice. MILAN. Treasures of Milan
With a local city guide we visit some of this bustling city’s most famous sights. First we enter the impressive Castello Sforza – today one of the country’s most important museums, where we see the Pieta by Michelangelo among other great works. Then we continue to the Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie to admire Leonardo da Vinci’s most famous painting, ‘The Last Supper’. A scenic lakeshore drive brings us to our cog-wheel railway, where we board our train to the summit of Lucerne’s most well-known mountain.
