London Canal Museum
The London Canal Museum tells the story of London's canals, from the days when they were important trade routes to today's more leisurely pursuits. The building itself was an ice-warehouse where canal boats would deliver their cargoes of ice to be distributed in Victorian London. The museum features displays on the life and times of the canal people, as well as the horses which pulled the boats, and the cargoes they carried.
