Day 1 London – Stratford – Coventry – Darlington
Greetings from our Tour Director as we make our way through the Chiltern Hills to Stratford-upon-Avon, the birthplace of William Shakespeare. From here we continue to Coventry, where we see both the old and new Cathedrals. Later an afternoon arrival in Viking York takes us on a walking tour to view the imposing Minster and stroll along the 'Shambles'. Then on to Darlington where we meet for a welcome drink with our Tour Director and fellow travelling companions before dinner at our hotel. (3 Couse Evening Meal)
Day 2 Darlington – Jedburgh – Edinburgh
This morning we head further north where we stop for photos at Hadrian's Roman Wall on our drive through Northumberland National Park to the Scottish border at Carter Bar. Here we admire breathtaking views before crossing the Borderlands and seeing the ruins of Jedburgh Abbey. Then on to Edinburgh where we have some free time before a sightseeing tour which includes a visit to Edinburgh Castle and views of Holyrood House. Why not try some traditional Scottish cuisine tonight? (Full Scottish Breakfast)

.Day 3 Edinburgh – Lake District – Liverpool - Chester Area (Runcorn)
Today we drive through the Southern Uplands to the area known as the 'Devil's Beef Tub' past Moffat to Gretna Green, where traditionally eloping couples married against their parents' wishes. We cross the border into England and drive along the lakes and valleys of the English Lake District to Grasmere. Then along the shores of Windermere, through pastures reminiscent of Wordsworth's poetry, we make our way to Liverpool, where orientation shows us the two Cathedrals and the new port on the Mersey river. From here we make our way to our hotel in the Chester area. This evening, dinner is at our hotel. (Full English Breakfast and 3 Course Evening Meal)
Day 4 Chester – Wedgwood – London
Our first stop is at historic Chester. Here an orientation tour highlights the Cathedral, Tudor buildings and the arcaded 'Rows'. Next we continue on to the Wedgwood Pottery Centre where we'll see the art of porcelain manufacture. There is even time to pick up some bargains in fine china, before we return to London!

Edinburgh Scottish Show with Dinner
Tonight is a chance to put on that tartan and join us for an evening of singing, dancing and bagpipe playing. There is food, wine and a great atmosphere. Join in with the singing, we’ll show you a Highland dance or two and there's a chance to sample Scotland’s national dish - haggis. It’s a grand night and a wonderful way to celebrate anevening in Edinburgh.

North Wales Excursion
Out of England and into Wales! Our excursion to Wales takes us to Llangollen the home of the International Music Eisteddfod. All around us are wonderful sights and sounds - the River Dee, steam trains at the Victorian railway station, a myriad of flowers on the river bank. Listen out for the local people speaking the sing-song Welsh language. We then travel through the magnificent Valley of the Cross, past the slate mines and up to the Horseshoe Pass to enjoy views of the Welsh hills, no wonder the Welsh sing for joy.

Trossachs Tour
Known as the gateway to the Highlands - lochs, glens and mountains combine in one of Britain’s most scenic landscapes. We enjoy views of Stirling and Doune Castles as around each bend of the twisting Highland road the legends of Scotland come to life. Stories of William Wallace, Rob Roy MacGregor and Walter Scott’s ‘Lady of the Lake’. In case you were wondering ‘Trossachs’ means ‘the bristly country’.
