closed on Sunday for services), we visit the chapter house. Stand outside Buckingham Palace and watch changing of the guard*, see the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus, Eros, and much more before stopping for lunch.
No London tour is complete without a pub lunch. We have selected a venue where the food and atmosphere is excellent. After lunch we continue our tour with a visit to the Tower of London the most impressive medieval fortress in Britain built by William the conqueror. During its history it has been a palace prison, zoo, royal mint, obsevertory, armoury and a place of execution. We will see the crown jewels, the ravens and famous beefeaters.
We move from here to Tower Bridge and then into the City of London - the one square mile that was built by the Romans. There’s so much to see here its breathtaking. We will visit the modern financial district that stands side by side with the ancient sites. View the Roman wall that once surrounded the city. Still within the city we will visit the site where the Great Fire of London started in 1966. We then travel the short distance to St. Paul's Cathedral.
Remember this is your tour and your guide will personalise it to your wishes and complete the tour at your pace.
* At certain times there may not be changing the guard. On these occasions we will visit horse guards parade.
