Discover why we say we'll take someone "down a peg or two", where the term "honeymoon" comes from, what the English pub signs and names really mean and why we drink our beer warm! Visit pubs where the condemned took their last drink. See where the Pilgrim Fathers, Charles Dickens, Dr. Johnson and even Shakespeare supped and dined.
You'll have an opportunity of sampling a glass or two of English ale BUT please note: This is not a drinking tour- it is a tour through London's social history.
We'll even find time for a traditional newspaper full of fish 'n' chips (not included in price).
Please note: Children under 14 years old cannot go into the London Pubs
included on this tour
