4 Days exploring deep into the Heart of England from Shakespeare’s Birthplace to the historic cities of Chester, Lincoln and Cambridge. Discover the scenic beauty of Snowdonia and the Peak District National Park and visit the impressive Conwy Castle and elegant Chatsworth House. Stay 2 nights in the historic medieval city of Chester and 1 night in Lincoln

Tour Schedule

Day 1

Takes you to William Shakespeare’s birthplace Stratford on Avon, home to the Tudor thatched cottage and gardens of his wife, Anne Hathaway. Following lunch in Stratford you will have the opportunity to explore the stunning gorge and World Heritage site of Ironbridge on the River Severn, before staying in the beautiful medieval/Roman town of Chester for 2 nights

Day 2

A day of contrasts as you first travel west into the heart of North Wales You will visit the fairy-tale medieval Castle of Conwy and discover the wild mountains of the beautiful Snowdonia National Park.before returning to explore Chester's ancient walls and cathedral

Day 3

Takes you through the rolling hills of the Peak District to the village of Castleton before visiting Chatsworth Estate (open from April to December), owned by the Duke of Devonshire, and famous for its house and gardens. From here you will travel east to the wonderful city of Lincoln where you will stay the night

Day 4

Starts with a free morning in Lincoln before you begin your return journey south. Visit the castle or cathedral - once the tallest building in the world! Shop at the Central Market or Steep Hill or just explore the historic city centre streets. On the way back to London you will make a stop in the University City of Cambridge
