City to shore, the crafts and creativity of the west of England come in to focus as you journey through the ages, via Plymouth, Bideford and Bristol.

It's Insider moments like… tracing the steps of Mr Darcy in the village where Pride and Prejudice was filmed, and seeing the spots that were captured in the Harry Potter movies – and imagining the magical tales spun about this place which has been barely touched by time

It's taking in the dramatic Cornish coastline where smugglers used to thrive. And, after seeing local artists' work on display at the Devon Guild of Craftsmen, it's crossing rugged Dartmoor and hearing legends on your way to the burial site of King Arthur

Day 1

London, Stonehenge and Bideford

This morning, travel to rural Wiltshire and visit the mystical ancient monoliths at Stonehenge on Salisbury Plain before arriving at the historic seaport of Bideford. This evening, get to know your companions and Travel Director at Welcome Reception including a light evening meal with drinks

Day 2

Bideford, Tintagel, Polperro and Plymouth 2 Nights

Drive along the north Cornish coast to enjoy views of the ruined Tintagel Castle which is steeped in mystery and legend and said to be the birthplace of King Arthur. Travel through Bodmin en route to in Polperro, a picturesque old fishing village with its narrow streets and lanes and old cottages dotted around the small harbour. This afternoon enjoy a Be My Guest Cornish Cream Tea on a local farm with spectacular views over the nearby meadows. Arrive later in Plymouth where tonight you have free time to explore this maritime city.

Day 3

Cornish Excursion

This morning, why not take an optional cruise around famous Plymouth harbour before setting off to explore Cornwall. The Cornish coast is famous for smugglers' coves and quaint villages on the way to St. Ives, a popular resort with artists and tourists. Enjoy views of St. Michaels Mount near Penzance. Cross Bodmin Moor, dominated by dramatic granite tors on your way back to Plymouth. Tonight, why not join an optional experience dinner at a nearby traditional pub.

Day 4

Plymouth, Glastonbury, cheddar Gorge and Bristol 2 Nights

This morning gain an Unique Insight into contemporary and traditional handicrafts at The Devon Guild of Craftsmen in Bovey Tracey. Visit the ruins of Glastonbury Abbey and see the legendary burial site of King Arthur. Travel through the spectacular limestone landscape of Cheddar Gorge en route to Bristol. Your orientation includes views of the Clifton Suspension Bridge and Brunel's SS Great Britain, the world's first ocean-going, propeller driven, iron ship.

Day 5

Bath Excursion

A short drive will bring you to the Georgian town of Bath. See the beautiful Pulteney Bridge spanning the River Avon and view the impressive Abbey, founded in 1499. Visit the Roman Baths, from which the city takes its name, and see the hot thermal pool of the 'Great Bath'. Enjoy free time to explore the city at your own pace. Why not stroll around the impressive Royal Crescent, a masterpiece of Georgian architecture, or visit the Jane Austin museum. Later, arrive back in Bristol where you have free time to explore the historic city. This evening join your companions for a Farewell Dinner.

Day 6

Bristol, Lacock, Windsor and London

Drive to the picturesque town of Lacock, with its honey coloured stone cottages and 15th century inns. The village has also been used as the movie location for Pride Prejudice and Harry Potter amongst others. Stop in Royal Windsor with time to explore the quaint town before returning to London where your memorable holiday ends.
