Tour Description

Day trip to Stonehenge, Salisbury and Bath, see the Prehistoric Stones at Stonehenge, Magna Carta at Salisbury’s Cathedral and Entry to the Roman Baths and Pump Rooms in Bath

Tour Schedule

Stonehenge

First stop is the mysterious Stonehenge, with its recognisable rocks strangely arranged in a circle on Salisbury Plain. The monument’s true origins are still unknown, so make up your own mind during this visit to the world-famous attraction! You will get up close to the stones for a once in a lifetime experience

Salisbury and the Magna Carta

See the tallest church spire in the UK during your visit to Salisbury Cathedral and enjoy the picture-perfect area surrounding the church. Check out the legendary Magna Carter that is on display inside Salisbury Cathedral – it’s the best preserved of the four remaining copies. The Magna Carter isn’t the only historical artefact you will see here as the cathedral also houses the world’s oldest working clock

You have the option of enjoying a traditional lunch near Salisbury Cathedral

Bath

The first city in England to be designed an UNESCO World Heritage site; Bath earned the accolade for a reason! The city boasts the famous Roman Baths that inspired its name and beautiful Georgian architecture, from the 15th century Bath Abbey to the romantic Pulteney Bridge. Sitting on the slopes of the River Avon, it’s easy to see why Bath draws so many visitors each year

Roman Baths

The grand entrance to the Roman Baths is jaw-dropping, and you’ll pass through this amazing doorway to begin your visit. The Baths date back to 40AD and still flow with water from Britain’s only natural hot spring. You’ll see the dazzling torch lighting ceremony as dusk falls (not available in summer) and sip Bath’s healing waters in the Pump Room

Estimated arrival time back in London is around 7.30pm

Free Walking Tour

Follow a Royal or Fab Four trail during a free walking tour of London. You will see places in the city where William and Kate have made their mark, or where the Beatles worked and played during their best years
