Stonehenge and Bath Day Tour From Oxford

Discover two of England’s most captivating destinations on a memorable day tour from Oxford, combining elegance, history, and ancient mystery. Travel in comfort aboard a luxury, air-conditioned coach as you head west to the UNESCO World Heritage city of Bath, renowned for its honey-coloured architecture and rich Roman past. As you arrive, the city’s graceful streets and lively atmosphere invite you to slow down and soak up centuries of culture woven into everyday life.

In Bath, admire iconic sights including Pulteney Bridge and the magnificent Bath Abbey, before stepping inside the Roman Baths. Here, explore remarkably preserved remains, engaging displays, and learn how Romans once socialised and relaxed around the steaming waters. In the elegant Neoclassical Pump Room, you can even sample the famous spa water for yourself, continuing a tradition thousands of years old.

The journey then continues into the rolling countryside to Stonehenge, one of the world’s most enigmatic prehistoric monuments. Standing before these immense stones is a powerful experience, inspiring questions that have echoed through time. Who built them, how were they moved, and why were they placed here? Observe their scale, shapes, and alignment, and feel the quiet majesty of this ancient site set within open, windswept landscapes.

Afterwards, deepen your understanding at the Visitor Centre, where immersive exhibits and artefacts reveal insights into Neolithic life and evolving theories behind Stonehenge’s purpose. The tour concludes with a drive back to Oxford, offering scenic views and time to reflect.
