Please make sure you arrive at your chosen departure point at least 10 minutes before your scheduled departure time.
- 7:15 AM: Outside The British Museum main entrance on Great Russell Street (MAP). The nearest tube stations are Holborn or Tottenham Court Road.
- 7:30 AM: Outside the Cumberland Hotel main entrance, Marble Arch (formerly the Hard Rock Hotel) (MAP). The nearest tube station is Marble Arch.
- 7:45 AM: Outside Gloucester Road Tube station, meet at the station exit (MAP).

Please note that all timings above are estimates and assume normal traffic conditions. Due to the changeable nature of road conditions, a precise return time to London can’t be guaranteed, but it’s usually between 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM.
Upon returning to London, your driver will drop you off at Victoria Train Station in the city center. This is one of London’s largest transport stations, offering excellent connections to all parts of London and beyond.

Are the meeting points easy to find? Yes, absolutely! All meeting points are conveniently located within short walking distances of tube and bus stops, offering very easy access for taxis. It’s recommended that you arrive at your meeting point 10 minutes before your scheduled departure time. This day trip has been carefully planned for maximum enjoyment, which means departures cannot be delayed for latecomers. This would impact the day’s itinerary and could cause you to miss booked entry times at certain attractions. If you are running late, please phone the emergency number provided on your booking confirmation, and the tour team will do their best to help you. If you miss the departure for your tour, you are welcome to join at the first scheduled stop, but any expenses incurred in doing so will be at your own cost. Refunds cannot be issued for passengers who miss their tour’s departure due to lateness.
How will I identify the vehicle at the meeting point? Depending on the number of people traveling on a particular day, the tour uses comfortable 8 or 16-seater executive vehicles. Upon arrival at the pick-up location, your guide or driver will announce themselves, will be holding a sign, and will be aware of your names, ready to welcome you aboard.
How much time will I have at each sightseeing stop?
- Stonehenge: You’ll have approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes here. This tour is specifically planned to get to Stonehenge first, before the large coaches, helping you avoid queues and crowds!
- Bath: You’ll spend approximately 2 hours in Bath, enjoying a panoramic coach tour of the city and dedicated time to enter the Roman Baths.
- Lacock: The journey from Bath takes you through the beautiful Cotswolds. Your stop in Lacock will be for approximately 45 minutes.
- Avebury: This is the last stop of the day, where you’ll spend approximately 20 minutes getting up close to the impressive Avebury Stone Circle.
Are entries into the attractions included in my ticket price? Yes, this tour includes entry into both Stonehenge and the Roman Baths. For Stonehenge, a free, downloadable audio guide is available and a popular way to learn more. You can find “Stonehenge Audio Tour” in your App store and are recommended to bring your own headphones.
Should I bring swimwear for visiting the Roman Baths? While it’s a common question, the Roman Baths haven’t allowed bathing for approximately 2000 years! It’s now a museum, so no swimwear is needed.
Will I be able to touch the stones at Stonehenge & Avebury stone circles? At Avebury, the largest megalithic stone circle in the world (thought to be built between 2850 BC and 2200 BC), you’ll have time to wander among the stones, touching and feeling them. However, Stonehenge has World Heritage status and is strictly protected. You’ll be able to walk the full perimeter of the stones but will not be able to touch them.

Is food and drink included in my tour? Food and drink are not included. However, there will be opportunities to buy food while touring. To maximize your sightseeing time, you’re welcome to bring a packed lunch.
Can I bring food and drink onboard the vehicle? No hot food or beverages are allowed on board the coaches (unless a hot beverage is in a sealed reusable thermal cup) due to the risk of scalds or burns and lingering smells. Only cold food and beverages with screw-top lids can be brought onboard. All litter must be taken with you from the vehicle and disposed of appropriately.
How much walking is involved in this tour?
- Stonehenge: The main visitor areas are all on flat, well-paved ground. A shuttle bus service will take you from the visitor center directly up to the Stones.
- Bath: There’s a short walk from the coach drop-off point to the Roman Baths, typically 15–20 minutes. Some parts of Bath have cobbled pavements, which may be difficult for those with walking difficulties.
- Lacock: Expect very limited walking, primarily for a photo stop.
- Avebury: There’s very limited walking in a field in and around the Stone Circle.
What should I wear? British weather can be unpredictable, so it’s advised to check the weather forecast and dress appropriately. Bringing some warm clothes, especially in winter, is recommended, and layers are great for adapting to changing weather. It’s a good idea to wear appropriate footwear as there is walking involved. England is known for its rain, so bringing a waterproof jacket or umbrella is advisable!
How many people will be joining this tour? This is one of their “Small & Friendly” day trips, with a maximum of 16 people, ensuring a more personal experience.
Do we need to tip staff? Tips are entirely at your discretion and are not expected. Should you feel inclined to tip, your driver or guide would be grateful, but you should not feel obliged. A 10% tip is considered customary in the UK.
