Must see Arc de Triomphe at Night only possible on an overnight tourPalace of Versailles
Our most popular Valentines tour is a excellent full day including the Eiffel Tower and the stunning Palace of Versailles.
The Palace of Versailles or in French Château de Versailles, was the main royal residence f the French King from 1682 up until the start of the French Revolution in 1789.
Our tour enjoys a glorious drive through the suburbs of Paris to Versailles, which is found about 12 miles south west of the centre of Paris at Yvelines.
This stunning palace is now an iconic historical monument and UNESCO World Heritage site, famous for many stunning artefacts, furniture, paintings and decorations.
The must see Hall of Mirrors and the sumptuous royal apartments and the royal residences, the Grand Trianon and Petit Trianon found within the beautiful and crafted parkland, it was created for Marie Antoinette with the amazing gardens, with fountains, canals, and geometric flower beds and groves, laid out by André le Nôtre.
The Palace was looted of all its furniture, paintings and artefacts after the French Revolution, but most have now been returned and much of the palace restored.
Last year the Palace of Versailles had nearly 8 million visitors, making it the second-most visited monument, just behind the Louvre and amazingly ahead of the Eiffel Tower.
We cannot recommend more highly this beautiful Paris tour, including Versailles, perfect for your Valentines treat.
As mentioned above, ahead only of Versailles is the absolutely unmissable, amazing museum that is the Louvre.
Paris really does have so much to offer and tours for everyone, many prefer tours that include free time and chance to shop on the Champs Elysee.
Finally our most asked question, what kind of weather can I expect in Paris. Well the simple answer is generally similar to London but in the summer it is normally a little warmer with many beautiful hot summers day. For February do check the weather forecast, it maybe cold, but if you prepare you will be very comfortable.
Have a wonderful Valentines in Romantic Paris.
