Day 1 - Arrive in Phoenix and Travel to Scottsdale

Welcome to Arizona. You’ll arrive in Phoenix and travel to Scottsdale. This state is famous for its scenic road trips. It has towering Monument Valley and the Grand Canyon. You can explore Old Scottsdale at your own pace. This vibrant downtown area shows you the best of the state. You will see retro wooden buildings. Rodeo-inspired artwork and local stores are all around. Everything has a classic Southwestern flair. Finally, you’ll enjoy dinner and wine with your fellow travellers.

Day 2 - Sedona and the Wonders of the Mighty Grand Canyon
First, travel the famous Red Rock Scenic Byway. This route is known for dramatic desert landscapes. You can discover Sedona’s unique shops. You can also simply admire the scenery. Afterward, you will continue to the Grand Canyon. You’ll follow the Oak Creek Canyon Scenic Byway. This road is one of America’s most scenic drives.
Upon arrival, take an optional flightseeing tour. A helicopter or plane will give you aerial views. Later, meet your local expert. He will show you the Grand Canyon’s wonders. You’ll learn about its ancient origins. He will explain the rock formations and local wildlife.

Day 3 - Sights of Monument Valley
Early risers will see a beautiful sunrise over the Grand Canyon. Afterward, you’ll travel along the South Rim Desert View Drive. Stop at Desert View Point and see the historic Watchtower there. The view shows the Colorado River and the Painted Desert.
Next, you will visit the Cameron Trading Post. This is one of Arizona’s oldest stores. Then, you’ll enter Monument Valley Tribal Park. A special experience awaits, then time to meet your Navajo Local Experts. They will guide you in all-terrain vehicles. This tour goes off the beaten path, where you’ll learn about Navajo history and culture. Enjoy a Navajo cookout lunch. This meal takes place amid the giant buttes. Finally, travel to your resort in Lake Powell. You will enjoy dinner and wine.

Day 4 - Leisurely Lake Powell
A Day at Lake Powell
Today is your day to relax. You can choose an optional experience or explore on your own. You could also just relax by the pool. The pool has great views of Lake Powell.

As an option, take a trip down the Colorado River. You’ll float past iconic sites, which include Horseshoe Bend and Petroglyph Beach. Or, you can explore Antelope Canyon. You’ll have a local Navajo guide.

Day 5 - Bryce Canyon National Park
Journey to Bryce Canyon
First, you’ll travel through an open landscape, which has colourful sandstone cliffs. Next, you’ll travel on Scenic Highway 89. This road is a top-ranked drive. It leads you to Bryce Canyon National Park.

You will be amazed by its otherworldly landscape. It has red rock pillars called hoodoos. It also has pink cliffs and endless vistas. Afterward, you can follow the Rim Trail, stops will be made at major viewpoints. You’ll have time for a walk or a hike. Either way, you will be spellbound by its beauty.

Day 6 - Zion National Park
First, enjoy a relaxed start, as you have a full day to explore Zion National Park. After breakfast, you will tour the canyon. You will ride a privately chartered vehicle, in which a local expert will provide commentary. They will show you the scenic highlights. You can explore Zion further with an optional experience. Choose to hike to the Emerald Pools. Or, take a self-guided stroll along the Virgin River. Keep an eye out for local wildlife.

Day 7 - Salt Lake City
This morning, you will leave Zion National Park. Then, you’ll travel to Salt Lake City, the capital of Utah. In the evening, you’ll join fellow travellers for dinner. Enjoy wine and good company at the hotel.

Day 8 - Jackson and the Tetons
Before leaving Salt Lake City, you’ll see the State Capitol building. You will drive along scenic Logan Canyon and you’ll cross the Wasatch Mountain Range. Then you’ll head north toward historic Jackson.

Prepare your cameras for the town square. It features famous elk antlers. Shoppers can browse charming art galleries. Finally, enjoy your evening at leisure, as your hotel is near the town square.

Day 9 - Yellowstone National Park
Wake up to a stunning view. The Grand Tetons rise skyward from the valley floor. You can take an optional scenic float trip. This trip goes down the Snake River. Afterward, you’ll enter Yellowstone National Park. It is the world’s first national park.
You’ll experience Wyoming in all its glory. The park is known for geothermal activity. You will see spectacular landscapes and abundant wildlife. Keep an eye out for black bears or wolves. Tonight, you’ll stay in the National Park Lodges. This lets you experience the park after hours.

Day 10 - Geysers and Hot Springs
Savour your surreal surroundings and walk among rainbow-tinted hot springs. Watch the erupting geysers. Your guide will tell you the park’s history. You can also see the bubbling mud pots. Finally, observe Old Faithful erupt, it shoots water over 120 feet high.
Afterward, you’ll enjoy the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. You’ll take in stunning natural wonders and drive through Hayden Valley. This area is famous for its wildlife. Keep an eye out for wolves, bears, elk, and bison. The rest of your evening is at leisure.

Day 11 - The Ranch at Ucross
First, you’ll travel through the scenic Shoshone Canyon. This journey leads to the Wild West town of Cody. There, you can visit the Buffalo Bill Centre. It showcases Western art and history. Afterward, you will travel through the Bighorn National Forest. This leads you to the Ranch at Ucross.
You’ll be hosted at a traditional Wyoming family ranch. Take in its rustic charm. The evening starts with cocktails. A home-cooked dinner follows. Finally, you can relax by a fire pit. Live entertainment will include country and folk music.

Day 12 - Devils Tower into the Black Hills
Live the American frontier dream, and begin your day with a scenic horseback ride. A Ranch Hand will accompany you. If not, try fishing instead. Or, you can just relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The choice is yours.
Afterward, make your way to Devils Tower. This astounding feature protrudes from the Black Hills. It is a sacred landmark to many tribes. Then, you will experience Spearfish Canyon. It is a favourite spot for wildlife lovers. This gorge is known for its beautiful woodlands. Its limestone is more ancient than the Grand Canyon.

Day 13 - Custer and the Wild, Wild West
Today is for exploring the Wild West. First, cross the great high plains, try to spot the pronghorn antelope. It is the fastest mammal in North America. Afterward, you will visit the Oglala Lakota Living History Museum.
Then, visit Badlands National Park. It has 244,000 acres of eroded buttes. You’ll also find pinnacles and spires. This landscape is blended with the largest protected prairie. It is a true hidden gem and its beauty is unlike any other.

Day 14 - Black Hills Monuments
This morning, see the granite faces of Mount Rushmore. Afterward, you will experience the Crazy Horse Memorial. This monument honours a Lakota warrior. It is the world’s largest mountain carving and you’ll get exclusive access to it. You will ascend 172 meters for a closer look. Tonight, celebrate your travels and enjoy a farewell dinner with your group.

Day 15 - Depart Denver
Your journey comes to an end today. Bid goodbye to your travelling companions before departing, carrying unforgettable memories of your time in the U.S.
