Description High silica content makes water milky blue. Swimmers wipe soft white dirt from the lake bottom because of silica. The water is salty and algae-rich. Lagoon bathing and swimming water averages 37–39 °C (99–102 °F). Guests must shower naked before visiting the geothermal spa. The communal showers are gendered. Free arm floaters are required for children under eight to enter. Children under two should not enter the lagoon. A staircase into the water and a shower chair make the lagoon wheelchair-accessible.
