Experience the captivating story of Indian Army sepoys camping at Hampton Court Palace this November. Based on the popular exhibition, The Indian Army at the Palace, acclaimed British South Asian theatre company, Rifco Theatre Company, brings the fascinating histories of these soldiers to life.
On select weekends, step into Hampton Court Palace and journey back to the early 1900s. Through three interlinked 15-minute stories set during pivotal moments in Britain’s imperial history, explore events from the perspective of ordinary soldiers who navigated diverse cultures and continents.
Reaching Hampton Court from London
Hampton Court is very easy to reach from London’s Waterloo Station independently by train which takes just 37 mins and once there the Palace is right opposite the train station. British Rail Train Times
Royal Bushy Park where you will find wild deer roaming, formerly park of Hampton Court grounds, this was a favoured hunting ground for Henry V111 and just 15 mins you can retrace his steps to this wonderful park today
We recommend allowing plenty of time to properly see the palace, gardens and escape the Maze! And if time allows, the Palace is found right on the River Thames, there are fabulous places for lunch on the River Thames. In the afternoon, it is only a 15 min walk to wonderful Royal Bushy Park, where you will find wild deer roaming.
